Gas Safety Certificates for Landlords

As a landlord, it is your legal responsibility to ensure that all gas appliances in a rental property are working safely and efficiently. To keep your tenants safe, all gas appliances and flues need to be checked annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Each of our highly qualified gas engineers is registered with CORGI, Gas Safe, the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE), and can carry out annual gas safety checks for landlords to give both you and your tenants peace of mind.

Once complete, our gas engineers will provide you with a Gas Safety certificate detailing the checks we have carried out. This is also known as a Landlord Gas Safety Record or CP12 certificate, and you’ll need to provide a copy of it to your tenants.

Maintenance for rental properties

Regular maintenance will help to ensure that gas pipework, appliances, chimneys and flues are all working safely in your rental property. We recommend having gas appliances, including boilers, serviced annually to check they are running efficiently.

During a boiler service, our engineers will check for any faults which need fixing, which can prevent small problems turning into costly repairs. With our help, you can keep your rental property safe and warm all year round, and avoid expensive and inconvenient breakdowns.

Experienced Gas Engineers

With years of experience in boiler servicing, central heating, powerflushing and more, our gas engineers can carry out gas safety checks to the highest standard and provide you with a certificate.
